Kicking it in Kanas!

YEP! Mookies was in the Midwest, kicking up dust in Kansas!

Hanging out in Kansas City for a few minutes it didn't take Mookies long to find the quirky part of town. A strange little restaurant called Fritz's Railroad Restaurant was his first stop to get a little bite to eat.

At this little diner, you order your food by phone, then a little train runs around the restaurant and drops it off at your table.

After filling his belly full of cheeseburgers and french fries he made his way downtown. Who would have thought he would have found MONSTER size books. Maybe Kansas has really large people that come out at dark?

NOPE! Turns out it was just a parking lot....who'd figure Kansas would disguise a parking lot in books.

Keeping with his Kansas stroll, he stopped to enjoy the simple things in life. Stop and smell the flowers,  create a little white space to let in a little creative thought. Ahhh....life is good only if you want it to be!

Ok, back to kicking' up the dust....only to uncover Buffalo BONES! Here's a little Kansaspedia....Kansas used to be great plains with over 20 million buffalo roaming free. A Couple of Bones to remember the noble buffalo that once ruled Kansas!

Bones was not all he found, ROCKETS! on buildings. Kansas a city of rocket launching buildings? Quirky Kansas sure is full of surprises!

Could there be more rockets hidden in Main Street? Blasting bits of Frizt's french fries to hungry giants reading about monster buffalos in space?

KANSAS....WHO KNEW?.......

Wonky Wonders in Branson and Lake of Ozarks, Missouri

Never a dull moment for a monkey in Missouri!

Galavanting across good ol' Mizzzzouri Mookies brought out the fun in Branson.

He met his cousin climbing up the towers in Hollywood, saw Mount Celebrity, witnessed the Titanic hit an iceburg, and of course what monkey would stop at the largest toy museum and see his old pals?

Looking for a bite to eat, he met the biggest bird, a Patriotic Rooster offering great american fried chicken and steak.

His tummy full, he stopped for the night in central Missouri at the beautiful lake of Ozarks. He woke in the morning to find a half wit waving at an indian hanging out near the crazy cousin's cabin in a two bit town!

"Mizzzzzzou sure has a lot of strange things to do!" ~~~ MOokies
