I'm an adventure seeker, this time I went to Lassen and explored four volcanoes in less than a week. While I was there, I hiked up Kings Creek, saw the falls, from the highest jagged peaks. I made grass angels in the meadows, and funny faces in the mirror of Emerald and Manzanita lake. While these sleeping giants snored, I explored the undiscovered, and the path of devastation from the last eruption's wake. I saw hydrothermal activity, bubbling mud pots and sulphur steam vents. As each day came to a close, and before I climbed into my little monkey tent, I saw the sun set on this magical place, its display of colors and rising stars made you feel like you were floating into outer space.
